Picture yourself in a place where the gifts of nature provide the setting for a way of life and you will be at Stoney Creek. A jewel located at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains just 30 miles west of Charlottesville, Stoney Creek has everything you need for year-round living. Enjoy 27 holes of championship golf on the Rees Jones-designed courses, play tennis, swim in Lake Monocan or the outdoor pools, go biking on the hard-surface paths, take a trail ride at the equestrian center, hike on one of the many nature trails and dine at the Stoney Creek Bar and Grill.

In addition to peaceful country living, the nearby village of Nellysford contains a University of Virginia medical facility, a dental office, and many other services, restaurants, and charming shops. Just minutes away is the reknowned Wintergreen Resort which boasts another 18-hole golf course, indoor and outdoor tennis, a year-round spa, and the best skiing in the mid-Atlantic. The amenities at both Wintergreen Resort and Stoney Creek are accessible on a daily fee basis or by means of an affordable club membership.

Owners at Stoney Creek enjoy community activities and cultural endeavors such as the Performing Arts Series or participation in the Wintergreen Nature Foundation, which is committed to preserving the natural beauty of this rare valley. They have regular golf and tennis outings, as well as many social functions scheduled throughout the year. Or you can simply enjoy the breathtaking scenery, festivals, and events historic Nelson County has to offer.
